The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

not a good day
not a good day.............for the subcontractors at least. hahahaha....spent most of the day making other people's lives miserable.....because they made mine difficult. :)
aronil: my subcontractors owed me submissions, drawings, papers, machines, progress, etc...which they promised to deliver. then they all failed to deliver, and came up with excuses and blaming and poking.....dont they deserve to be screwed?
i am a very good colleague to work with, i dont have a spillover effect for my anger/frust one... i can be nasty to one subby, but at the same time i can share a dirty joke with my officemates one...
Sheon don't get me wrong on your distress, also probably cause i'm looking from another angle. If those people deserve a shelling because they aren't doing they're job, then by all means scold them.
I think what i was referring to was more of, when people are giving you crap (doesn't have to be work related) does one retaliate back with crap too? E.G. call - say you - bad names behind your back. Do you go ahead and call them bad names too? That sort of thing.
Your post was making me think of another scenario when I typed out the comment. But you know when we give crap back to others for the crap they gave us, does it give us any satisfaction in the end?
On another note, if you know for a fact that you are a better worker than them, then let them be. If they want to mess up their job, don't allow them to mess up yours. No?

I really wonder, when we are in distress, why is it we like to also be a pain back to other people. Chill man!! But I can relate to it :)
